Reservoir Imaging Ltd (RIL) is an established 4D seismic software services consultancy based in Edinburgh, Scotland, formed in 2005 to serve the burgeoning market for 4D seismic surveys. The RIL team has over 70 years experience in the seismic business with in excess of 100 successful 4D seismic design, planning and acquisition QC projects. RIL has a growing client list, with projects in the UK/Norwegian North Sea, Gulf of Mexico, Canada, West Africa, Russia and South East Asia. RIL works closely with each client to ensure that each 4D survey is designed, planned and executed to ensure optimal 4D results.
In the fast evolving 4D world the RIL team brings individuals with a track record of developing software and services, focusing on the needs of the client and producing timely & cost effective solutions.
In 2009 the technology developed for 4D has been developed to allow planning, infill optimisation & acquisition QC for Wide Azimuth surveys. The Osprey Wide Azimuth software has been sucessfully applied in the field on at large project throughout 2009.
